Exclusive report :Texans’ Dell practices less than a month after suffering a gunshot wound and has been arrested again for…

Tank Dell, a receiver, participated in an offseason exercise with the Houston Texans on Tuesday, less than a month after being wounded in a gunfight at a Florida restaurant.

The organisation stated that Dell, who is entering his second season, had a “minor wound” in the April 27th incident, which injured nine people.

On Tuesday, Dell did not appear to be limited when the team held its first voluntary offseason exercise for reporters. During practice, the squad played 7-on-7, and Dell caught a pass from C.J. Stroud.

“I’m happy for Tank to get back out there,” said coach DeMeco Ryan. “Obviously, we know he experienced a horrific event. We’re simply glad he’s here, glad he’s back doing what he loves, which is playing football. So it’s nice to see him sprinting about and being the same player he always is, just making plays and being a dynamic player for us. So everyone is delighted to see Tank again.”

Dell did not talk with reporters on Tuesday. Dell was picked in the third round in 2023 following an outstanding career at the University of Houston. Last season, he amassed 709 receiving yards and a franchise rookie record seven touchdown receptions before breaking his left fibula in December.
