For the Golden State Warriors, Draymond Green isn’t always this good. Thankfully, rookie Trayce Jackson-Davis saved the All-Star forward during a decisive victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.

During his 25 minutes on the court in that specific game, Green recorded 12 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 blocks. After missing a layup and making multiple turnovers in the second half, he was eventually substituted out of the game.

Following the All-Star forward’s removal from the game, head coach Steve Kerr started Jackson-Davis. The power forward assisted the Dubs in winning 125-90 against Milwaukee right away. Following the game, the rookie pulled down six rebounds, blocked shots, and scored 15 points on 87 percent shooting from the field.

Giannis Antetokounmpo recorded 23 points, seven rebounds, and six assists for the Milwaukee team. Damian Lillard contributed 20 points and six assists for the Bucks in the meanwhile.

Green gave reporters an explanation for his removal from the game after it had ended. He also gave the rookie a lot of credit for his contribution to the Warriors’ victory at the same moment.

Outside of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, the two players on the Warriors roster with whom he has played the most, Green rarely speaks well of his teammates. Jackson-Davis is a more talented player than his 6.8 point and 4.1 rebound averages currently indicate.

The Warriors are currently tied for 10th place in the Western Conference with the Los Angeles Lakers. Jackson-Davis and Green will need to play at their best in the upcoming weeks if Golden State hopes to qualify for the playoffs.
