Only a few days before the 2023 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers traded Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets. Once Rodgers was behind center, the Jets were given an instant “Super Bowl window” per the agreement. But an Achilles tear delayed that window by a year.

The Jets want to immediately return to the title talks as the 2024 season draws near. They might be doing so, though, under a new head coach.

In a blog published on Friday, February 23, ESPN’s Aaron Schatz boldly claimed that Mike Vrabel will take over as head coach of the New York Jets once Robert Saleh is fired.

After Mike Vrabel was unexpectedly fired as head coach of the Titans, the musical chairs came to an end. Approaching the 2024 season, there are too many qualified applicants for head coach positions available and too many last-chance coaches.

Why not implement the modification right away? Schatz clarified, “The Jets could bench a coach with an 18-33 career record in favor of a coach who has already achieved success.” “Vrabel led the Titans to the No. 1 seed in 2021 despite having winning records in four of his six seasons in Tennessee.
