LAS VEGAS — The Celtics surged with 33 points in the fourth quarter to secure an 89-84 victory over the Charlotte Hornets in Summer League action on Wednesday night. Key to the comeback were second-round pick Anton Watson, guard Jahmi’us Ramsey, and Jaelen House, the son of former Celtics guard Eddie House.
Watson and Ramsey each contributed 15 points, while House, who had limited play in the first two games, added 8 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals in over 16 minutes.
House, known for his trash-talking just like his father, engaged in back-and-forth exchanges with Charlotte’s Zavier Simpson throughout the fourth quarter. He energized the Celtics with a key steal and an acrobatic layup during their decisive run.
