Golden State Warriors player Draymond Green appears to be enjoying his downtime.

He was pleased when the Phoenix Suns were eliminated from the playoffs by the Minnesota Timberwolves due to his longstanding animosity with Jusuf Nurkić. Less than a week later, he was back on his podcast, discussing the Suns. But this time, he’s firing shots at their general manager, James Jones.

In his farewell interview following the Suns’ heartbreaking first-round loss, Jones stated that the team’s focus would be on finding methods to utilize superstar Kevin Durant.

“I tell you, that’s a constant focus for us to continue to figure out how to maximize Kevin Durant,” Jones told the media at the time. “No one has tried it yet. I believe we will be the first team to accomplish so because maximizing him allows us to maximize our entire roster.”

Green took exception to these remarks, and rightfully so. Durant has only been successful in the postseason with one team, Green’s Golden State Warriors.
