Texas’s Frisco The Dallas Cowboys have already selected eight players in the 2024 NFL Draft; however, the team’s roster building process is far from finished as they look to acquire some of the top players who were not selected. They will be joining the competitive undrafted free agent market.

The Cowboys had a favorable undrafted pick in 2023 in Oregon lineman T.J. Bass, who was perhaps the most significant rookie of the previous campaign, and Hunter Luepke, who was a force to be reckoned with in the backfield for run blocking, pass protection, and short-yardage rushing.

The Cowboys profited in previous years from signing Tony Romo and Hall of Famers Cliff Harris and Drew Pearson. Markquese Bell, Cooper Rush, Terence Steele, and other people are currently contributing.

According to sources, the following undrafted free agents have reached deals with the Cowboys.

Brevyn Ford of Tecumseh, Minnesota: With his 6-foot-6, 250-pound body, Spann-Ford is a big-bodied tight end who stood out at the Senior Bowl and is undoubtedly one of the best run-blocking tight ends in the draft class. Despite having little receiving output during his tenure at Minnesota, he shown possession abilities at the Senior Bowl in Mobile.

Jason Johnson, linebacker, UCF: Following a 100-tackle season at Eastern Illinois in 2021, Johnson joined the Knights and finished the two seasons with 240 tackles, earning a spot on the Second Team All Big 12 roster. One of the best undrafted linebacker alternatives available, Johnson was a run-stopper with lethal downhill skills.

According to Brock Mogenson, LB, SD: Mogenson, a 6-foot-2, 235-pound linebacker who finished his collegiate career with back-to-back seasons of 100 or more tackles, is another downhill attacker who can open up spaces for runs with his physique.
