This week, Rory McIlroy is certain he will win The Masters for the first time.

At The Masters this week, Rory McIlroy feels he will finally pull off the career grand slam by donning the coveted Green Jacket.

Alright, so in the most recent social media video from the PGA Tour, McIlroy made a somewhat lighthearted remark, but he did disclose his name as the 2024 Masters victor.

At odds of10/1, McIlroy,34, begins The Masters as joint-second favorite with reigning winner Jon Rahm.

Scottie Scheffler, the 2022 Masters winner and current number one in the world, is a strong 4/1 favorite this week.

McIlroy, a four-time major winner, comes into The Masters having finished solo third at the Texas Open.

Amazingly, though, that was his first top-10 finish on the PGA Tour this year.

The Northern Irishman was invited to attempt to name every Masters champion since his birth year of 1989 in a cute little video that the PGA Tour released on the eve of the opening major of the season at Augusta National.

Overall, McIlroy performed admirably, but he struggled in a few different years.

McIlroy chose himself even though he wasn’t asked to choose the 2024 winner!

Trying to become just the sixth golfer in history to complete the grand slam is what the World No. 2 is aiming to do.

The five players who have won The Masters, The Open, US Open, and US PGA in the history of the sport are Gene Sarazen, Ben Hogan, Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus, and Tiger Woods.

Tiger Woods takes a few shots at Rory McIlroy because he thinks the latter will finish the job sooner rather than later:

“He will definitely do it eventually.

“He’s just too good; Rory is too talented. He will be performing for a very long time at this event. He’ll finish it. The only question is when.

“Yeah, but I do believe that Rory will win the Masters one day, and it may
