Is this the end of Draymond Green and Steph Curry’s collaboration? Perhaps, and include Klay Thompson as well.

Since his return from an indefinite ban in January, power forward Draymond Green has received accolades from the Golden State Warriors for maintaining his fiery temperament without getting into trouble again. He continues to be physically aggressive on the court and to yell at referees, but he does so in a way that does not go too far.

Then Wednesday night arrived. (RELATED: LeBron Admits He Disregards Lakers Head Coach Darvin Ham’s Playcalls, Saying “I Vetoed It”)

Though Green did not play a significant role in the Warriors’ 101-93 victory over the Orlando Magic, the 34-year-old was removed from the game barely four minutes into it.

He was talking back to referee Ray Acosta after receiving his first personal foul. Shortly after, Steph Curry was fouled for a shooting foul, which prompted Green to approach Acosta and chirp at him once more, although this time, he was yelling at him. Green was given a technical foul by referee Acosta in retaliation, but when he persisted in his attacks, the official struck him with another technical, which resulted in his immediate removal from the game.

With 8:24 remaining in the first quarter, Green’s night came to an end. Green received a second tech “after a prolonged diatribe, Green directed egregious profane vanguard towards a game official,” crew leader Mitchell Ervin reportedly told a reporter after the game, according to ESPN.

Wednesday night, Golden State head coach Steve Kerr was yelling at the referees about how much he disliked their calling as Green was leaving the field and making his way back to the locker room.

But Curry was the one who really jumped out at that moment. Curry was walking back and forth throughout the stoppage. What’s more significant is that he was repeatedly shaking his head in an open manner. Turning the heat up even further, he covered his face with his shirt, obviously shaken by the whole thing.

Is this the end for the Warriors of today? We appear to be going in that direction.
