This season, the Golden State Warriors’ difficulties have been evident. The Warriors, who are now 36-34 and in 10th place as of March 26, need to get their act together quickly if they hope to make the playoffs. It was unexpected for a club accustomed to winning titles to have to battle for a postseason berth. Speaking about the negative habits of the Warriors, Draymond Green disclosed the cause for their troubles this season.

“We tend to lose games that we ought to win.

“To succeed in this league, one must win the games they should and steal a couple those they shouldn’t. But you’re going to have a difficult year if you lose the ones you should win.

The Warriors and Houston Rockets are tied for the final berth in the Western Conference Play-In Tournament, with just a half-game separating them. On April 4, Golden State takes on the Rockets in a game that might determine the outcome of the season.

Warriors frustrate Stephen Curry

Head coach Steve Kerr told reporters he couldn’t keep relying on Stephen Curry every game after the Golden State Warriors’ loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on March 24, which included yet another blowout lead.

Following the defeat, Kerr said to reporters, “We can’t expect to just ride Steph game after game after game.” For him, the past few weeks have been quite difficult. He has been carrying the weight of this franchise for the past fifteen years. He cannot play for thirty-five minutes. We’re on a road trip with five games in seven days. I completely disagree with your assertion that his playing 30 minutes as opposed to 32 was the difference between the win and the loss. Our goal is to prevail in the match. Our goal is to keep him engaged.

Although Kerr’s remark is true, the Warriors may need to rely on him for the rest of the game.

Curry, who was benched during the Timberwolves’ strong run, voiced a similar sentiment.

After suffering their second straight loss, Curry told reporters, “Obviously, you’re comparing it to the last game and my normal rotation like I want to play as many minutes as I’m fresh and able to, so a little bit [surprised] knowing that [Timberwolves] were just going on the run.”

The Warriors are obviously frustrated because it appears that the dynasty may be coming to an end.

Will the Warriors Be Able to Solve It?

Thanks to Curry and his supporting cast, the Golden State Warriors are capable of defeating any opponent on any given night. Even if they are past their primes, Green and Klay Thompson are still capable of producing their best winning plays.

But with the season so late, it’s time to accept the Warriors for what they are.

They’ve had difficulty this season, and eventually they’re going to play like a team. They are a poor team for the Warriors.

Given their postseason history, it wouldn’t be shocking to see them go on a tear, but given their performance thus far this season, it doesn’t seem likely.
