The Best Indoor Golfer in the World Gets DP Launch of the World Tour by Reason of…

Jordan Weber won the indoor simulator Order of Merit, earning him a $15,000 bonus.

While winning an indoor simulator league isn’t the only method to obtain a tournament exemption, few will have done so in a more intriguing way than Jordan Weber, who will compete in a DP World Tour event.

Weber participates in indoor tournaments using a Trackman simulator on the NEXT Golf Tour, a virtual golf league. After winning the league’s end-of-season Order of Merit, the 38-year-old American will now compete in three Challenge Tour events and one DP World Tour event this summer thanks to a cooperation between Trackman and the European Tour organization.

Weber won the Tour’s last event to take first place in the season-long rankings, despite the fact that his battles with the yips destroyed his professional dreams as a young adult. With his second victory of the year, he crossed the $90,000 earnings mark. “Whoa! Following the victory, Weber said, “I’m crying, I’m shaking, I’m feeling everything.” “It’s unbelievable that I just did that.” Incredible. It was not anything I anticipated happening.

I’m ecstatic to be traveling to Europe; it’s very great. Simply put, it’s difficult for me to accept that I might experience this. We’re heading out to celebrate. I’m heading out to celebrate with my family and have a drink. It’s really thrilling. That’s unbelievable.

In the fourth round of the NEXT Golf Tour, which was played virtually at the PGA West Stadium Course, Weber won his first tournament of the season. Surprisingly, it was his first victory on the Dakotas Tour in twelve years.

Played at The Concession, the season-ending event marked the 38-year-old’s second triumph of the year. He defeated Sweden’s Jesper Sandborg and Iceland’s Sigurdur Gardarsson by two shots after making five straight birdies in his final round.

The DP World Tour event in which Weber will compete is not yet announced.
