In addition to selecting the ideal starting quarterback, the Denver Broncos must improve the quality of players in their wide receiver group. Could Denver achieve that with the aid of these three free agents? The Broncos may not have a legitimate wide receiver on their roster. Although Courtland Sutton caught 10 touchdown passes in 2023 and had a good year, Sutton is not always reliable.
Marvin Mims Jr., a rookie wide receiver, was a lethal return guy. Jerry Jeudy appears to be a career-WR2 at this point since he has simply struggled to establish a stable foothold in the NFL. All of that to say, in the offseason of 2024, the Broncos must acquire some talented wide receivers. Could the three undrafted players help the Broncos acquire a wide receiver room?
3 free agent wide receivers Denver Broncos could sign in 2024
1. Hollywood Brown
Madame “Hollywood” In 2024, Brown will be a free agent and may likely be obtained for a reasonable sum. Throughout his career, he has averaged 50.6 yards per game and established himself as a very trustworthy target in the passing game. With the Baltimore Ravens in 2021, he did surpass the 1,000-yard plateau. In the past two seasons with the Arizona Cardinals, he has caught 118 receptions for 1,283 yards and seven touchdowns.
Hollywood Brown, if nothing else, can be a consistent second or third option in the passing game and can even become a star in Sean Payton’s scheme.
