The Ghanaian international Joseph Paintsil left his Belgian Pro League team, KRC Genk, to join the LA Galaxy, one of the biggest teams in Major League Soccer (MLS).

The American squad has signed the Black Stars winger to a four-year designated player contract, the club announced on Wednesday, February 21, 2024. His contract expires in the 2027 Major League Baseball season.

The 26-year-old is reportedly awaiting paperwork to make his much-anticipated Galaxy debut, maybe against Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami in the season opener. This is according to a statement released by the club.
