News sa the Kansas City Chiefs hide audio of Kelce-Reid sideline exchange………

A new report claims that the Kansas City Chiefs and the NFL are trying to make sure the audio from the infamous Super Bowl LVIII sideline exchange between Travis Kelce and head coach Andy Reid is never heard by the public. While it has been over a week since the 2023-24 NFL season came to a close with Super Bowl 58, the members of the Kansas City Chiefs roster are still likely celebrating their victory over the San Francisco 49ers. And why not, not only did they win an NFL title but they became the first team in two decades to win back-to-back Super Bowls.

On Tuesday, the New York Post reported “Two people highly plugged into the sports media business told The Post they suspect the Chiefs blocked NFL Films — which captures the mic’d up audio — and “Inside the NFL” from airing the direct Kelce sound bite, with one saying he thought that this edict came from Reid.” It is certainly interesting that the franchise and Reid are allegedly taking this approach if there was nothing too scandalous said in the heat of the moment. Since Kelce quickly apologized for the incident soon after the game it certainly seems like something harsh was said by Kelce that could damage his reputation if released to the public.

In the “Inside the NFL” episode on the game, audio of CBS analyst Tony Romo is played over video of the wild Travis Kelce and Andy Reid exchange from Super Bowl 58.
