For their part, Ange, Kyogo Furuhashi, Matt O’Riley, Reo Hatate, and Daizen Maeda were essential in forcing the Rangers to give up their one-season dominance and winning five of the six trophies available, including the eighth treble in Celtic history.

Hiring is crucial, and this season has demonstrated that Celtic has made a grave mistake in this regard.

Too many players that Celtic signed in the summer have turned out to be disappointments, and of the two that Celtic signed in January, one has left Alan Stubbs perplexed.

While managing Celtic’s bench against Kilmarnock, the former defender acknowledged that he was confused by the acquisition of Nicolas Kuhn.

“If Celtic have their best XI on the pitch, then it’s a different story, but they have to make do with what they’ve got,” Stubbs remarked [PLZ Soccer].

“Just take a look at their bench from Saturday; players like Oh, Kuhn, Bernardo, and Bernabei don’t seem like they can carry them to the next level.
