Kevin De Bruyne and Phil Foden are both shortlisted for individual awards after their fine performances at FC Copenhagen on Tuesday.

De Bruyne is up for the UCL Player of the Week award after earning the Man of the Match from UEFA Technical Observer Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The Belgian scored the opener before assisting twice as we sealed a 3-1 advantage to take into next month’s second leg.

He is up against PSG’s Kylian Mbappe, Lazio midfielder Matteo Guendouzi and Real Madrid’s Brahim Diaz.

Meanwhile, Foden is in contention for the UCL Goal of the Week prize.

Our Academy graduate scored our third in added time after a lovely one-two with De Bruyne in the Copenhagen box.

His pass for De Bruyne took several defenders out of the game before he moved into space to receive the return.

Once it came back to him he hammered in from 12 yards to ensure a healthy lead at the halfway stage of the tie.

Foden‘s goal will compete with Diaz’s winner for Real Madrid at Leipzig, Bradley Barcola’s effort for PSG and Magnus Mattsson’s finish for Copenhagen.
