The New Orleans Saints have plenty of challenges on their 2024 schedule. The NFL unveiled the full league schedule for the upcoming regular season earlier this week. The Saints don’t have one of the toughest projected schedules, but they did not last season, either.

They must find more success in 2024. One opportunity to do that will be against their former head coach.

The Saints will play Sean Payton and the Denver Broncos in Week 7.

The matchup will assuredly be emotional. Expect a tribute video by the Saints for Payton. He led them to their sole Super Bowl win in franchise history.

Additionally, New Orleans should be favored in the matchup. The Broncos will probably be starting rookie QB Bo Nix, and they do not have nearly the talent or depth on their roster compared to the Saints.

Not to mention, we will see how Dennis Allen prepares for his former offensive play-caller. Allen joined the Saints staff as Payton’s DC. Now, he’s the HC in New Orleans, and there’s plenty of heat on him to lead the Saints back to the postseason.
