Finally, the Draft is over, and it appears very evident that there was only one winner: the Chicago Bears. However, this is all due to MATH, not the fact that this is a Bears blog. Once math is on your side, you can never be wrong. However, it gets better. The only thing that is better than the Bears winning is the Packers losing, which is fantastic news because not only does MATH conclusively state that the Bears were the clear winners of the 2024 NFL Draft, it also finds that the Packers were the biggest losers. Here’s how.
The Bears defeated the Packers in the 2024 NFL Draft, as demonstrated by one statistic.
A user by the name of Steven Patton tweeted something on Monday. This was no ordinary tweet, though. This tweet contained math! from an economics master’s degree holder!
To be completely honest, I have no idea what any of this even means. Surplus in Weighted Position! It sounds essential, for sure. Significantly more significant than Blind Surplus, though I’m still not sure what it implies. That being said, I find it satisfactory that there are multiple colored quadrants, an X-axis, and a Y-axis. I’m convinced.
And now that I’ve spent about twelve minutes studying this chart, allow me to explain its meaning to you in detail:
.. The NFL Draft was lost by the Packers. The MATH confirms that this was unquestionably the worst draft in NFL history. You just have to accept failure when the Weighted Position Surplus value chart indicates that your general manager was the worst of all GMs. Tom Telesco was too good for you to defeat.
That’s it, then. The next time a Packers fan loses it, keep in mind that the Weighted Position Surplus, along with most others, detested their draft. It’s possible for you too. Who are we to argue against math?
The NFL Draft was won by the Bears. It might have been the greatest draft in NFL history. The MATH is in order.
