Paul Broadhurst confirms that the veterans tour will be delighted to welcome the former world number one.
A few years back, Tiger Woods restated his refusal to compete in a tournament in a golf cart. However, following his significant troubles with injuries, Paul Brdoadhurst promised that the former world number one will need to use a buggy to play the PGA Champions Tour.
Broadhurst has two second-place finishes on the PGA Senior Tour in the United States, and his earnings have recently hit $728,000, all thanks to Champions Tour rules that allow him to play tournaments in a golf cart.
Last year, the PGA allowed the player a waiver to utilize the buggy. The English golfer is unable to play the 18 holes on foot due to arthritis in one of his ankles, and he need medicine to walk. His predicament is comparable to that of Tiger Woods, whose injury history has had a significant impact on him in recent seasons. The former world number one has had to retire from several recent contests due to health issues, but Broadhurst stated that this would not be a problem on the tour for players over 50.

Broadhurst assured that if he joined the Champions Tour, “Woods will be able to take a cart, that won’t be an issue for him. He will perhaps be looking forward to playing without walking around.”
At the same time, Broadhurst assured that Tiger would be more than welcome on the veterans tour. “No question. They are really hopeful, and I think he has given out signs that he is more than happy to play once he turns 50,” said the 2018 Senior PGA Championship champion.
Woods, 48, has suffered numerous ailments during his career, but in recent years, his back and one of his ankles have been a chronic cause of pain. Broadhurst continues to play despite injuries
