The famous super start Dallas Mavericks is gone because

Micah Parsons Furies the Mavericks Over Jalen Brunson’s Loss.

After losing Game 1 to the Los Angeles Clippers, the Dallas Mavericks have won two straight games to start the 2024 NBA Playoffs in the first round.

Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving have given the Mavericks standout performances, while the rest of the supporting group, led by P.J. Washington and Daniel Gafford, has excelled in their own capacities.

In a challenging game against Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers, Jalen Brunson is leading the New York Knicks on the opposite side of the nation.

Since leaving Dallas, Brunson has developed into a superstar guard for the New York team, which has benefited from his presence and renewed energy.

Brunson was given free agency by the Mavericks a few summers ago, which was an odd move at the time but hasn’t held up well.

Via his personal Twitter account, Micah Parsons continues to wonder why the company chose to let Brunson go.

“How did we let Brunson leave, bro?” Parsons sent out a tweet.

Brunson has been transparent about his departure from the Mavericks, even admitting that he would have taken a less expensive contract to remain with the group prior to his entry into free agency.

The point guard ultimately agreed to a four-year contract worth up to $104 million, which the Knicks are thrilled about as it means he will be their leader going forward.

However, Dallas moved quickly to find a successor, acquiring Irving through a deal with the Brooklyn Nets.

Everyone appears to have benefited from the situation, but it’s reasonable to ponder how things could have turned out if Dallas had simply kept Brunson.
