According to a story citing a current Chelsea player’s agent, the team’s players are currently living in constant fear.

Chelsea’s season has been quite inconsistent thus far. As the end of March draws near, they are only one win away from qualifying for two domestic finals this season and have already made it to Wembley twice. No matter what the circumstances, that is never going to be good enough for a team like Chelsea.

Additionally, fans will always want more, and it is largely because to these demands that current athletes appear to be living in constant fear.

They are afraid that they could be the next target of the animosity from supporters after seeing several Chelsea players lately—Raheem Sterling being the target on Sunday—get jeered by supporters.

According to a source obtained by The Telegraph, players and their reps are afraid that they could become the club’s next Public Enemy No. 1 due to the boos.

One agent said, “The players know.” They detect it when they hear it. It has an effect, even if they may claim they can ignore it or filter it out.
