Slugging outfielder Adam Duvall, who helped the Atlanta Braves win the 2021 World Series, has rejoined the team after spending the 2023 season with the Boston Red Sox.

With the Cincinnati Reds, Miami Marlins, Braves, and Red Sox, among other major league teams, the 35-year-old played for ten years. In actuality, this will be his third tour of duty with Atlanta; he previously served as a player there from 2018 to 2020 and again in the latter half of 2021 and 2022.

Duvall is a lifetime.232 hitter with great power. With 184 home runs in his career, he hit a career-high 38 in the 2021 campaign. That season, he also set a baseball record for RBI (113).

Despite playing just 86 and 92 games in the previous two years due to injury concerns, he is a productive player when he does play. With 21 home runs and 58 RBI for Boston last season, he hit.247.

He will likely see some time at designated hitter for Atlanta, but he may also play in left field as part of a platoon with Jarred Kelenic, who was acquired from the Seattle Mariners this summer.

Michael Harris II and Ronald Acuna Jr. will be the other starting outfielders. Moreover, Duvall might be deployed as a late-inning bench bat, particularly when facing left-handed pitchers.

Atlanta is expected to be the favorite in the World Series this year after winning the National League East the previous year.
