The romance between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce is legendary. Boy and girl cross paths. A boy asks a girl to watch him play in the “big game.” The girl says yes to the invitation. Cameras track everything they do. Multiple Grammy awards are won by a girl. The boy’s third Super Bowl victory.

Since September 24, 2023, when Swift was seen supporting Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Kelce and his team against the Chicago Bears from a skybox at Arrowhead Stadium, the entire globe has been enamored with this tale.

But according to a team coach, that September night was not the Chiefs’ first view of Swift.

Taylor Swift Had Been Privately Helping Travis Kelce in Secret

Kelce has previously said that he did not “out of the blue” invite Swift to his game. In a January interview, the prominent tight end revealed that at that point, they had actually spent “nearly a month” getting to know one another.

However, “Anti-Hero” singer Dave Merritt revealed in a recent interview that the Chiefs’ defensive backs coach had been secretly supporting Kelce much earlier.

“She was entering the stadiums without anyone really knowing until the camera focused a lot of attention on it,” Merritt stated on the podcast “The Sports Shop with Reese and K-Mac” on Friday, February 23.
