Alright, people, what have we got here? Despite being written off by many commentators, it appears that the Golden State Warriors are still alive and thriving, sitting ninth in the unpredictable Western Conference.

They were tied for ninth place with their division opponent Los Angeles Lakers after their recent victory over the Washington Wizards. In a fictitious play-in tournament, the 9th seed would take on the 10th seed in an attempt to move on to the next round.

The Dubs would play the winner of the 7/8 game for the opportunity to move up to the eighth seed if they prevailed in that fictitious battle over the 10 position.

Should they grasp that? It’s We Believe all over again, that’s for sure!

Sacramento Kings, #7, 33–24

#8 Mavericks of Dallas, 33-25

#9 The Warriors of Golden State (30–27)

#30-28 Los Angeles Lakers

The Dubs need to establish their groove heading into the last stretch of the regular season, as they have 25 games left in the campaign. If they want to make any noise this postseason and continue the dynasty, they must reduce the amount of blown leads and poor defensive play that they have occasionally displayed.
