Irish golfer Joe Lyons, who won in Spain on Sunday, is hoping to reunite with a priceless trophy today. He thought it had been thrown away when Ryanair employees wouldn’t let him take it home in the cabin.
The current Irish Seniors Close champion Lyons (51), who was born in Offaly, was ecstatic to win the Spanish Seniors Amateur Open on Sunday at Real Club Sevilla Golf by a margin of four shots.
